In year 4 there are currently 2 classes with one mixed year 3/4 class.

These classes are called Norway taught by Miss Wilson, Portugal taught by Miss Sadler and Switzerland taught by Mrs Thwaites and Mrs Coletta.

Literacy and Mathematics are taught in the classes in an age and stage appropriate way.

For the foundation subjects we follow the International primary curriculum which focuses on different topics each term.  We try to make the curriculum interesting and exciting with a combination of visitors and visits.

Music and drama is taught by a specialist in class and weekly singing assemblies.

We teach the children PSHCE through Values Education.  Throughout the year we change the value monthly to encourage the children to behave positively towards everyone.

We learn about our own and other people’s religious beliefs by following the Bedfordshire agreed syllabus.  We also visit local places of worship.
